Jewelry Manufacturing and Production

Available options:

• Create metal mold die from artwork (See Custom Die Work)
• Rubber mold - duplicate* existing pieces/models

• We will even stamp your product with a trademark stamp you provide

Choose from 10Kt, 14Kt, and 18Kt yellow or white gold, or sterling silver.
10Kt gold and sterling silver are only available in quantity orders.

Note: We do not do rhodium plating or enamel pieces. Engraved pieces are non-returnable.

All molds created by Specialty Casting are kept in-house with the understanding that Specialty Casting does the production. If you don't place an order within 3 years of the mold creation date we reserve the right to destroy the mold.

Pricing

• Rubber mold duplication: $25 per mold setup fee. Non-refundable.
• Metal mold die making: starting at $250 per mold setup fee. Non-refundable.
• Initial order is a minimum of 50 pieces. No exceptions.
• Larger initial orders may be grounds to waive the rubber or metal mold charges.
• Wholesale pricing is based upon rough cast weight of metal, stones (where applicable), labor (including casting, assembly, and polishing), and markup.
• Credit card payment information is due at time of ordering. Card will be charged when mold is complete and/or initial order ships.

Ordering

• Once a metal mold die is completed you will receive a sample piece for approval.
• After the initial order your product will be available in your online catalog for purchase on this website. Necessary login information will be provided at that time if you don't already have an account.
• You can order online or we will provide an order form that you can mail or fax with payment.
• Estimates for manufacturing of pre-existing pieces/models are based upon labor requirements after review.

Delivery

• Initial delivery time depends on the mold work, quantity, piece detail/complexity, assembly, and stone setting. Estimates are available after review of artwork and specifications.
• Final product delivery is determined by quantity ordered and our current status.
• Most finished product orders are manufactured within 10-14 business days of ordering and shipped second day delivery.

Copyrights

• Items that are designed and manufactured by Specialty Casting that are not customer submitted must not be made available on the Internet. These include all original works by Specialty Casting and its partners/affiliates where applicable.
• Proper copyright forms can be sent to Specialty Casting to sign as a co-author of custom die work. We will sign over the rights with the understanding of our manufacturing guidelines.
• After the initial order, if you decide to take your molds elsewhere for production a good will payment is required.
• All images on SpecialtyCasting.com are protected by copyright. Unauthorized use may be a violation of copyright, trademark and publicity laws, or other statutes and regulations.

Submitting Artwork

Artwork should be:

• black and white line-art
• a minimum of 4-times larger than the final product
• with a detailed description
• e-mailed or mailed and not faxed (to prevent distortion)

We are flexible on the computer file formats that are e-mailed or submitted on disk or CD. If there is a problem with submitted line-art we will let you know. Providing written specifications with the artwork is important.

We reserve the right to reject submitted projects, artwork, and customer molds. Failure to follow our copyright and manufacturing guidelines is subject to account and production termination. Specialty Casting is not liable for any copyrights or patents violated by manufacturing customer specific products.

* If a copyright exists on items submitted for duplication you must own the rights.
