Does Specialty Casting have a print catalog?

We do not have a print catalog at this time. Our product catalog is showcased online for our members only. However, there is a catalog available at BrooksFineJewelry.com with many of our slide bracelet products. We do plan to have a wholesale catalog in the future. Send us an email and let us know which products you would like to see in a catalog.

I would like to use Specialty Casting as a manufacturer. How do I get started?

Please review our Jewelry Manufacturing page and then complete our contact form. We will then be in touch to discuss details and quantities after reviewing the item(s) you would like produced and the terms of production. If you just wish to purchase our products at wholesale pricing complete our Request an Account form.

I have designed a belt buckle. Does Specialty Casting manufacture belt buckles?

Sorry, we don't do belt buckles.

Are there discount rates for large quantities?

No.

Is there a minimum number of pieces per order?

There is no minimum number of pieces per order or minimum dollar amount per order.

Can I order slides in 10 karat gold or silver?

All slides are only available in 14 karat yellow or white gold. We do not do 10 karat gold, 18 karat gold, or silver for many items. Each item has a drop down to select the metal it is available in. If you would like 10 or 18 karat gold slides there is a minimum 25 piece order. We do not do slides in silver.

Do customer that place larger orders get special treatment? Does putting "RUSH" on an order make a difference?

We do not give any "special" treament to companies that place large orders. We do not give priority for "RUSH" orders, high or low quantity orders, or previous purchase history. Each customer is treated the same. However, if you do something like call everyday after you place an order to get a status we may terminate your account.

Can I send you stones to set in blank pieces?

Not for pieces we are selling at wholesale. If we are manufacturing your own pieces this may be an option.

Is "Specialty Casting" not the same thing as "Brooks Fine Jewelry"?

Brooks Fine Jewelry is our retail store front and BrooksFineJewelry.com is our retail website. Specialty Casting and its website, SpecialtyCasting.com, are operated strictly for qualified resellers.

As a reseller can I purchase slide jewelry from Specialty Casting that are also available at BrooksFineJewelry.com and sell them on my website?

No. Due to our agreement with several of our designers we cannot allow this. If a reseller using SpecialtyCasting.com is found to have placed such pieces online for sale their reseller account will be terminated. You can sell them at your store front, but not online. There are items that are available at SpecialtyCasting.com that do not fall under this case. If you are interested in using SpecialtyCasting.com to supply product for your online store we recommend having your own product line.

If I have Specialty Casting do custom die work for me who owns the copyright?

Since Specialty Casting would be considered a co-author of the item because of the die creation process we will sign over copy rights. Please review the custom die work page.

What is your delivery time for orders?

This applies to orders for existing dies: Our manufacturing (casting, stone setting, polishing) and delivery schedule is date driven. We do not give priority for "RUSH" orders, high or low quantity orders, or previous purchase history. However, unlike other jewelry manufacturers and wholesalers we do not have a 6 to 8 week delivery time. We complete most orders within 10 to 14 business days (2-3 weeks) and then ship them 2-day delivery.

Does Specialty Casting charge extra for white gold?

No. There is no extra charge for white gold. Items in white gold are the same price as the item in yellow gold.

I noticed another slide wholesaler selling the same slides made by Specialty Casting and sometimes their prices are a little less. Why?

We use a higher quality stone. We do offer our slides, and many other items, without stones if you prefer to set your own stones. Another difference that our customers have noticed is pieces directly from us have a "higher quality finish".

Can I use images from specialtycasting.com, or brooksfinejewelry.com, for my website or print material?

No. All images and content on specialtycasting.com and brooksfinejewelry.com are protected by copyright laws. We may eventually have a press kit that will provide you with images that may be used for such purposes if there is a demand from our customers for such images.
